04.05.2012
CLIENT: FAST COMPANY STORY: OCCUPY INNOVATORS PHOTO EDITOR: KATHY NGUYEN DESIGN DIRECTOR: FLORIAN BACHLEDA DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: LESLIE DELA VEGA
Every year, FAST COMPANY produces an "Innovators" issue. This year theyincluded the Occupy Movement in their list of 50 most innovative companies of 2011. The editors chose eight individuals in four different cities who they believe to be innovative parts of the movement. The subjects are to be "occupants" of their own space in each image. GREG MILLER strategically used a tape measure to make sure each subject was the same distance from the camera, ensuring that "when the pictures were published side by side they would link together in a chain of solidarity"
